James Sensei is an active and dedicated teacher
of shakuhachi in the Kinko tradition, Jin Nyodo lineage. Weekly private
lessons form the foundation of the learning, and these are augmented with
master classes and workshops, often with guest teachers, and student recitals.
Students learn to play folk music, zen meditation music, and traditional
Japanese chamber music. Instruments available. Call or email for more
